German Shorthair Dog Breeder
We would like to announce our upcoming litter due April 2024.The parents are Gauge and Ruger.
The Eric Larsen family has been raising German Shorthaired Pointer puppies since 2016 and take pride in breeding a calm, smart, pup with a great desire to please. Our German Shorthairs have natural point, backing and retrieve instincts at an early stage. They are also good with kids but have enough natural instinct to be an excellent hunter.
We got Rex at 2.5 months. He is now 4 months old and sitting, fetching and retrieving. He's already putting his paw up and acting like he wants to point. Can't wait to get him out in the field this hunting season to see what this spunky GSP will do.

My hunting experience while hunting with Eric Larsen and his awesome group of shorthairs was phenomenal! The dogs did exactly what you picture a well trained shorthair would do. Hands down the best hunting dogs I've ever hunted behind. If anyone is in the market for a good hunting dog, Eric Larsen is the guy to go to!

We have hunted numerous times with Eric and his dogs. We really enjoy watching them work. They have a great conformation and are respectful dogs that listen well. Eric takes good care of them and you can tell he really cares about them which is important when selecting a breeder. We haven't bought a pup yet, but have been planning on it when the time is right for our family.

We originally had planned to buy one puppy from this breeder but ended up getting two.. The breeder had a detailed record of when the vet docked their tails, what shots were given and the time and type of wormer used. The AKC paperwork was all in order and he explained what we needed to do next. He also told us what kind of puppy food they had been eating to make the transition to their new home a little easier. We have had our puppies almost 3 months now and couldn't be happier with them! They are easy to train and have already taken an interest in hunting. We highly recommend this breeder and will buy from him again.

While I am not lucky enough to own one of Eric's German shorthairs, I have had the opportunity to hunt with these fine dogs. Elegant, smart and eager to work, these dogs are a step above just good bird dogs.
